Why use ZillaKit's add-text tool?
Whether you are labelling a diagram, adding a caption, or placing a simple watermark, ZillaKit lets you stack as many text layers as you like and position each one exactly. Everything is drawn on the HTML canvas in your browser, so your files never leave your device and there is no upload. Each layer has its own font from a set of clean system stacks, plus independent size, colour, outline, opacity and rotation, so you can mix a bold headline with a faint watermark on the same image. Drag any layer to reposition it, or delete it from the layer list. Export as PNG to keep transparency and crisp edges, or JPG for a smaller file. There is no signup and nothing to install, just a quick, private way to put words on a picture.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded?
No. All text is added locally in your browser on the HTML canvas. Nothing is sent to any server.
Can I add several separate captions?
Yes. Add as many text layers as you like. Each has its own font, colour, size, opacity and rotation, and you can drag them independently.
How do I move or delete a layer?
Click a layer on the canvas or in the layer list to select it, then drag it to move it or press Delete layer to remove it.
Which export format should I use?
Choose PNG for lossless quality and transparency, or JPG for a smaller file when the image has no transparent areas.
