Why use ZillaKit's image resizer?
Resizing should be quick and private. ZillaKit scales your image on the HTML canvas directly in your browser, so your files never leave your device and there is no upload delay. You can work in exact pixels when a form demands a precise dimension, or in percent when you just want something smaller. The aspect-ratio lock keeps your image from looking squashed, while the quality slider lets you trade file size against sharpness for JPEG and WebP exports. Choose PNG when you need lossless output or transparency. There is no watermark, no signup, and the free tier handles everyday resizing. It is a clean, focused alternative to firing up a heavy photo editor just to change one dimension.
FAQ
Does resizing keep transparency?
Yes, if you export as PNG or WebP. JPEG has no transparency, so any transparent areas become white.
Can I make an image larger?
You can, but upscaling cannot add detail that is not there. The browser interpolates pixels, so large increases will look soft.
What does the quality slider do?
For JPEG and WebP it controls the compression level. Lower quality means a smaller file with more artefacts. It has no effect on lossless PNG output.
Are my images uploaded?
No. All resizing runs locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
