Why use ZillaKit's rotate and flip tool?
Sometimes a photo comes out sideways, or you want to straighten a slightly tilted horizon. ZillaKit rotates and flips your image entirely in the browser on the HTML canvas, so your files never leave your device and there is no upload. The 90-degree buttons handle the common case of a photo saved in the wrong orientation, while the fine-angle slider lets you nudge the image to any angle. When you rotate off-axis, the canvas automatically expands so no corners get cut off, and transparent corners stay transparent when you export as PNG. Flipping is handy for mirror selfies and for fixing scanned pages. There is no watermark, no signup, and no software to install. It is a quick, private way to fix orientation without opening a full photo editor.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. All rotating and flipping happens locally in your browser using the HTML canvas. Nothing is sent to a server.
Why did the canvas get bigger when I rotated at an angle?
When you rotate off the 90-degree grid, the bounding box grows so the corners are not clipped. The extra space is transparent in a PNG export.
Does flipping lose quality?
No. Flipping simply mirrors the pixels. Exporting as PNG is lossless; JPG applies light compression.
Can I combine a rotation and a flip?
Yes. Rotation, angle and both flip toggles all apply together, and the preview shows the final result before you download.
