Free Business Tools

Invoices, quotes, receipts and timesheets — professional PDFs in minutes, without a subscription.

Accounting software makes sense once you are sending fifty invoices a month. Before that, it is a $30 subscription for a form. These tools are aimed squarely at the sole trader, the contractor, the tutor and the weekend side business: fill in a form, get a clean, professional PDF, get back to work.

Getting paid. The Invoice Generator handles line items, your logo, tax (including GST), payment terms and a due date, and produces a PDF that will not embarrass you in a client's inbox. Receipt Generator covers the other end — payment and rent receipts, with the amount written out in words the way a formal receipt requires. If you invoice for time, Timesheet Generator turns start, break and finish times into hours, overtime and pay, so the numbers on the invoice are defensible.

Winning the work. A quote is a sales document, not just a price. The Quote & Estimate Generator includes a validity period, a deposit line and an acceptance signature area, which is what turns "let me think about it" into a signed job. For land and earthworks contractors, the Land Quote Calculator goes further: measure a paddock on a satellite map, analyse the slope, and build an itemised quote from real area figures instead of a windscreen estimate. Purchase Orders keep your suppliers straight once jobs get bigger.

Looking the part. Business Card Maker exports print-ready artwork at 300 DPI with bleed — the specification a print shop actually asks for — and Email Signature Generator builds an HTML signature you paste straight into Gmail or Outlook.

Client names, rates, addresses and ABNs are commercially sensitive, and none of it is uploaded. The PDF is assembled in your browser and saved to your machine — we never see who you are billing or for how much.

Business tool FAQ

Is an invoice made with a free generator legally valid?

An invoice is valid because of what it contains, not what produced it. Include your business name and contact details, your tax or company number if you have one, the client's details, an invoice number, the issue date, a clear description of what was supplied, the amount, any tax broken out separately, and payment terms. The Invoice Generator prompts you for all of it. Requirements vary by country, so check your local tax authority's guidance if you are registered for sales tax, VAT or GST.

What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?

A quote is a fixed price you are committing to; an estimate is your best guess and may change. That distinction matters legally in most jurisdictions, which is why the Quote & Estimate Generator makes you label the document and set a validity period. Quote fixed-scope work; estimate anything where you cannot see what is under the surface.

Do I need to sign up or pay to download the PDF?

No. There is no account, no email wall and no watermark on the PDF. The document is generated in your browser with pdf-lib and downloads straight to your device — the free daily limit is the only cap, and it is generous enough for normal small-business use. Nothing you type ever reaches a server.
